We've had such a great time reading about and seeing photos of our friends' families online that we thought it might be fun to put up something of our own. Also because I can never seem to get those baby photos printed out for grandma and grandpa....

Our Peter, at 18 months, is getting very big indeed (complete with the occasional success in the potty). He has his father's analytical mind and -- thank God -- his interest in tidiness, and like Mom he loves to cook and take long walks outside. He demonstrates a tendency toward stubbornness and independence, the source of which is a complete mystery to his notoriously compliant and predictable parents ... and grandparents ... and great-grandparents.... He also talks a blue streak and loves to learn new words, the latest of which, to our delight, is "please" (replacing his earlier expression for this concept, which was along the lines of "eeaaahhghhhhhhh!!!!!"). We have fun together, and we hope you have fun watching him grow with us.
